I take a break from streaming and twitch pulls ai garbage and yt is know doubling the amount needed to even be monetized on its platform. Granted I'm a pretty small creator and haven't been in the content creation space for super long, so I'm not incredibly beholden to either of these platforms and moving isn't going to cost me much atp. I'm almost at a year of streaming, albeit with breaks here and there, but I'm impressed with myself with sticking with it so far!

Streaming/Videos, full time content creation isn't my main goal; I enjoy this as a hobby and the less stress and pressure to do that, the better for me to be honest. Mental health has been very up and down and physical health has been a rollercoaster this past year; that and streaming is not my job! But I want to carve a space on the internet, even when it's imploding.

All this to say, I'm readjusting my goals and priorities for whatever I post/stream online cause if platforms wanna switch up on its communities so can I!

I know one of my bingo goals was streaming 4x a week. Yeah, no. I'm dropping it to 3x a week: Tuesday-Thursday. Along with that, first week of the month, I'll be offline to work on videos cause I want to get back into editing again. That and I want to work on some games that's been stuck in the backlog for a hot minute.

No longer going to stream on twitch; I personally don't even use twitch to watch streamers and watch vods for the most part. Not deleting my account, but I will indicate on my page there where to find me. Youtube unfortunately is where I'll be streaming and keeping my vods; but I am looking at stream place as potential new alternative to streaming primarily and yt still my stream/video archive.

In terms of content, streams and videos, I'm going to shift long ass games to off stream playthroughs. I think it'll help me get back into simple editing and condensing some longform videos and again, I want to be more efficient with editing. Playthroughs I would like to put up would include Control (hopefully before Control 2 releases), Forbidden Solitaire, and South of Midnight. There's more in the backlog for sure. Stream wise: I don't think I will stream games longer than 5+ hours in one sitting, so short games, demos and maybe an occasional PEAK run, is on the table.

I want to do more craft streams! That's like my bit and I've been slacking for some time so more art content like zine making, painting, cosplay work and drawing shall make a return soon! Body doubling work along streams I'm still probably going to do. It's pretty helpful for me to get some irl stuff done and a nice breather after a long day.

Video wise and it's a callback to my first ever game series: Alone on a Journey. I have a lot of solo rpg games I wanna play and I have an idea on how to get through them and be a fun project for me to do so keep an eye out.

If you've read this far, thanks! I'm in a interesting crossroads here, but I wanna see this through and prove to myself I can do these projects and just enjoy creating in these fucked up times.

So Imma do just that. (⌐■_■)
